Speeding, Careless Driving, Failure to Yield, Speed Contest, these are just a few of the traffic violations that people are ticketed for on a daily basis. Most people figure that it is not worth their time to contact an attorney about these types of cases. In fact, most people simply mail in payment or stop by the courthouse and pay the tickets. It is not until later on that the effects of these tickets usually come to light.

Colorado monitors a person’s driving privilege in state with a point system. Each speeding ticket or other traffic citation can result in the accumulation of points against your Colorado Drivers License. In addition to points and fines, many more serious traffic tickets can carry penalties that include driving classes, community service and even potential jail time. What might seem like a small issue can quickly grow into a major problem.

Convictions for traffic violations can affect your employment, your insurance rates and your ability to drive at all. Your privilege to drive is too valuable to not take traffic citations seriously. If you are facing traffic charges in Colorado Springs or any of the surrounding areas call an experienced traffic violation attorney today and schedule your free initial consultation.
